White stonefruit and melon flavours reflect the ripe Chardonnay fruit, while delicate grapefruit, creamy and toasty flavours have resulted from the fermentation, lees contact and maturation in French oak barriques.

The aroma continues on to the palate, and is further enhanced by fruit sweetness and great length from the crisp acidity resulting from the wine not having undergone malolactic fermentation.

An attractive palate with abundant lush tropical fruit and sweet melon flavours balanced by that distinctive spine of cool climate acidity. A crisp mineral edge gives the wine a fresh, dry lingering aftertaste.

The palate shows lemon citrus and nectarine fruit flavours with an underlying creaminess. The tight acidity will soften with careful aging. A fresh crisp finish complements the length of fruit flavour.
