The 2005 vintage produced white wines of great delicacy and wines which exemplify their varietal characters. Whilst wonderful to sip in its lively youth, Chief Winemaker, Andrew Wigan, prophesies a great future in the bottle for the 2005 Peter Lehmann Semillon.

Vibrant pale straw with green tinges.

Clean-cut aromas of lemon flower, hints of grapefruit and bees wax.

A very elegant and delicate Semillon with persistent lemony lanolin characters on the middle palate. It is tightly structured in its youthful zestiness and finishes with clean crisp, yet soft acidity. The wine is unoaked and totally fruit-driven.

Hunter Valley Semillon is renown for it’s unique properties –in particular the way it drinks as a crisp citrus style as a young wine and then with bottle age develops golden colour and toasty notes evocative of oak maturation, when in fact it has been made totally devoid of any oak contact.

Pale lime colour. Clean, soft Semillon fruit characters with citrus sherbet overtones. The wine has a crisp, clean, citrusy palate with a clean, almost minerally finish. Lost Block Semillon is a medium bodied, un-oaked style that exhibits balanced acidity and refreshing fruit flavours
