Colour: Deep plum red.
Bouquet: Attractive redcurrant, liqueur cherry and raspberry fruit meld with delicious vanilla marshmallow and licorice. Intriguing layers of cigar box, cedar and dark chocolate oak characters add layer and complexity.
Palate: A medium bodied wine with excellent intensity of raspberry and cherry fruit flavours that combine on the palate with marshmallow oak characters. An easy drinking style with attractive, yet savoury lingering fruit notes.

Alan & Veitch Adelaide Hills Merlot 2005
Colour: Deep red, typical of young Merlot.
Bouquet: Notes of violet and rose, fruitcake, spice, prune and dried red berry fruit notes mingle with classy French oak.
Palate: Juicy plum and berry fruit notes combine with creamy oak to give an impression of richness. Typically fine powdery tannins and fresh acidity ensure a drying finish.

Ninth Island Pinot Noir 2008
Colour: Brilliant and vibrant pinot noir ruby red, with subtle purple hue and colour density.
Bouquet: Lifted aromas of dark cherries, sweet cranberries, the soft perfume of violets and rose petals, with that distinctive Ninth Island, Tasmanian berry fruits and raspberry richness, all finishing with a faint background of mocha chocolate and under tones of pepper berry spice.
Palate: Sensual Tasmanian summer berry fruits, velvety fine long textured mouth-feel. Sweet lifted fruit on the mid-palate that is a finely balance by satisfyingly integrated tannins and a long captivating finish that lingers.
