Aromas of blackcurrant, raspberry, leaf, freshly plucked weeds and cedar oak. On the palate medium bodied with sweet raspberry and blackcurrant fruit, weeds, white pepper and cedar oak. Finishes with red fruit and herbal flavours.

This wine is vibrant crimson red in colour with purple hues. A brightly coloured cabernet, it shows rich varietal characters of blackberry, redcurrant, dark chocolate and hints of choc-mint. There's good earth and cassis-like soily characters, sweet and herb-like, a really fine trace of liquorice jelly, and whiffs of cocoa oak. The palate is a mirror image of the bouquet with sweet dark fruit flavours, hints of mint and olive, fine tannins and a soft creamy oak finish. A really impressive Coonawarra Cab within it's bracket, it keeps on giving in terms of smooth loyal tannins and topical varietal /regional characters.

The Cabernet Sauvignon grapes are grown exclusively on the Elderton Vineyard situated on the banks of the North Para River, Nuriootpa, Barossa Valley, South Australia.The Elderton vineyard has very old deep alluvial soils over limestone with the majority of the Cabernet vines ranging between the ages of 35 to 50 years.

Full Bodied, with a solid core of rich Chocolate, plums and polished tannins.
